I haven’t tried it yet, but the knife looks and feels very well-made. I’ve read great things about the quality of Lamson. My one complaint is that it didn’t come with a sheath of any kind, but it does come with a cloth. I’ll buy pretty much anything that comes in pink, so this is a dream knife!

Rave reviews from my sister about the look and feel of this knife! A perfect gift
I like the size, shape, and color of this Lamson forged knife. Very well-balanced knife, especially for a pinch grip. I have smallish hands, and the handle feels great in my hands. The blade is a good size for slicing and cutting up smaller portions of meat before cooking. I’ve used it for rough dicing and chopping as well. Blade is very sharp out of the box, and comes with the Lamson sharpening program. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and will likely get the 8” knife, too.
My only wish is that the knife were a little heavier, like my older German knives. However, the weight is consistent with other modern German chef knives by Wusthof or Zwilling, so is not a flaw by today’s standards.
