Bought it as a wedding gift - the newly weds absolutely loved it!
Dutch Baby is our 3 1/2-quart Dutch oven that nests neatly inside our bestselling The Dutchess. By popular request, Dutch Baby is sized for smaller batches and kitchens and comes in a plump, round shape perfectly sized to one stove-top burner.
Made from the same enameled cast iron as The Dutchess, Dutch Baby comes in four colors and moves gracefully from stove to oven to table to dishwasher. Dutch Baby is ideal if you’re cooking for one or two people, or prepping a side dish, whereas The Dutchess’s larger, oval shape is better suited for roast chicken, bread-baking, and family-style meals.
Cast iron is a champ at retaining heat, and the smooth enamel finish makes it easy to deglaze and clean. The interior is gray — light enough that you can see butter brown, but dark enough to hide stains. Dutch Baby comes with our signature oversize handles, which fit four fingers (plus an oven mitt!). The lid rests securely and won’t shimmy or shake. Oh, baby, baby!
I followed Great Jones on Instagram forever before I bought the dutchess. I wanted the pink one SO bad and of course it was discontinued. I waited just under a year seeing if it would return and it didn’t. So I bought the next best option, broccoli! I use it for everything. It’s so beautiful I leave it on my oven all the time just to look at it! About 9 months later the pink dutchess was brought back and…well…I had to have it! Opening it was like Christmas morning! My best friend talked for months about how much she wanted a Dutch oven but for some reason never bought one. So I surprised her with blueberry and she’s just as obsessed with it as I am with mine. She also leaves it out all the time just to look at it. It looks amazing on her granite counter tops. They’re the perfect size, they heat so even, they’re beautiful. I really couldn’t ask for more. Just ordered another and waiting for it to be delivered to my mom! She uses mine every time she comes to town and talks about how she just needs to buy her own. The hardest part is picking the right color
I bought it for my daughter. She tells me she uses it everyday.
