Cast iron is superior at retaining and evenly distributing heat — there’s a reason humans have been cooking with cast iron for eons. This set includes our top three draft picks, all of which share a common material but have very different use cases.
Why It's Special
Safe for all stovetops (including induction).
Dutch Baby nests perfectly inside The Dutchess, and you can hang King Sear for easy storage.
All are oven-safe. The Dutchess and Dutch Baby are dishwasher-safe.
The Dutchess and Dutch Baby: Dishwasher-friendly. Hand dry thoroughly after running a cycle. To prevent staining, wipe down the exterior of The Dutchess before placing it in the oven.
King Sear: Not dishwasher-friendly. Hand wash the skillet. King Sear is pre-seasoned. To maintain the nonstick seasoning, occasionally season your skillet: dry your skillet thoroughly, rub vegetable oil or fat over the interior surface, and place it in an oven at low heat for the oil to seep in.
Love this Dutch Baby! Cleanup is a breeze, and it's noticeably faster at boiling water compared to my other pots. The size is just right, fitting everything I need without being too bulky, and of course the color is amzing.
This pot is versatile as it can be used as exercise equipment or weapon when not cooking up delicious meals in the kitchen. I have not cooked in it yet probably because I'm being protective of it's beautiful finish. I am truly in awe of the finish and the color. I have to refrain from buying pots I don't need just cause they're pretty. I do wish there was a baby to the baby. I'm in search of a tiny saucepan and would love to add to the dutchess and the the dutch baby I have.
